Fees
The Bisland Dance Centre season can be paid for either in full at the beginning of the year or divided into three equal term payments. The same refund policy applies to both methods of tuition payment (please refer to our policy and procedures charter for more detailed information regarding withdrawal and refunds). Please note as per policy number 7, if account payments are overdue, the student will not be permitted to attend classes until payment has been made.
The Bisland Dance Centre accepts cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, or personal cheques for our classes. If paying by cheque, all three term payment cheques must be presented at registration, one with the current date and the remaining two post-dated as indicated below. A credit card number must also be provided to secure post-dated cheque /debit payments. Cheques should be made out to The Bisland Dance Centre.
Three Term Payment Option
Our three terms are as follows:
TERM 1: September 20th - November 30th
(Term payment is due upon registration)
TERM 2: December 1st - February 28th
(Term payment is due December 1st)
TERM 3: March 1st - June 11th
(Term Payment is due March 1st)
Tuition is determined by length of class as follows:
30 Minute Class: $147.34 + HST (x3 term payments)
45 Minute Class: $155.84 + HST (x3 term payments)
60 Minute Class: $164.34 + HST (x3 term payments)
75 Minute Class: $172.84 + HST (x3 term payments)
90 Minute Class: $181.34 + HST (x3 term payments)
Full year payment option:
Children’s Class Tuition (based on 34-week calendar):
30 Minute Class: $442.00/year + HST
45 Minute Class: $467.50/year + HST
60 Minute Class: $493.00/year + HST
75 Minute Class: $518.50/year + HST
90 Minute Class: $544.00/year + HST
Multiple Class Discounts*
1st class pay full rate
2nd class subtract 5% from 2nd class yearly tuition price
3rd class subtract 10% from 3rd class yearly tuition price
4th class subtract 15% from 4th class yearly tuition price
5th or more additional class(es) subtract 20% from class yearly tuition price
*The percentage of the multiple class discount is determined by the duration of each class a student is registered in; the longest class considered the first class followed by the rest in descending class time order.
Registration Fee
Registration fees hold your child's place in that class and covers administrative, insurance, and processing costs for the year.
Returning Student Early Registration
(June only): $15.00/family
Early registration discount/full year payment incentive
(Before Sept. 9th): $25.00/family
Regular registration fee
(after September 19th): $35.00/family
Recital Costume
Students will be fitted for a professionally made costume to be worn during their performance in The Bisland Dance Centre's annual year-end recital. Costume price will not exceed $90.00 + HST and payment is divided into two as follows:
October 15th: $60.00 costume deposits due (costume deposits are non-refundable after this date.)
February 1st: $30.00 + HST costume balance due
Tuition Refund
Refunds are not made while a term is in session, but if a student wishes to withdraw between terms and payment has not been made or processed, a refund can be issued. Please refer to our policies and procedures charter for more details on the correct methods of withdrawing from the program.
